ALASKAN WINDS BUSH FLYING CHALLENGE - SEASON TWO?

[image] [image]

The first season of the Alaskan Winds Bush Flying Challenge is ending soon so it is time to think about next year's Championship!
I had this idea of a "Holiday In" series (you may still have some of these old vinyl LPs in the house?) and I just thought it could be an idea to spice up the Bush Flying Races...!

Don't let these images mislead you ;D ... it is going to be about true Bush Flying and it is still going to be tough 8-) But there are many great places in the world suitable for these kind of flights, challenging airstrips, terrain, approaches and weather! The Himalayas, the Amazonia, Antarctica, Africa ... wherever the services of good bush flying pilots are required we could go.

Not necessarily Lisbon or Rio de Janeiro ... but we could go there afterwards, to celebrate ;D

So what do you think?
As usual the Winner of the previous Challenge would be the new Race Coordinator and he could decide on his flight's location just as now ... and we may Race the Tongass Fjords anytime ;) 8-)

But this could be a possibilty - specially if more Pilots would be interested in participating in the AWBFC.

I placed this thread on a public area so anyone can see it and reply. Let's hear about it!
